About Laptop
A laptop, often called a notebook, is a small, light weight, portable personal computer, typically having a thin LCD or LED computer screen mounted on the inside of the upper lid of the clam-shell and an alphanumeric keyboard with or without background light on the inside of the lower lid. Laptop have verity of configuration, in terms of vendor (Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo..), processor, storage, size, wight, look and feel, operating system, memory and purpose. Let's talk one by one all in details.

AppleApple is surely one of the luxury brands when it comes to laptops, computers, tablets, smartphones and music players. Comparing with other brands, Apple have their own Mac OS that comes pre-installed on all their machines including iMac, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and the latest MacBook.

Dell: Dell is the best Windows laptop brand like their support, professional design, fair prices and durability. If you want to stick to one brand for all time then you can easily go with their three series' like Inspiron, XPS and Alienware.

Inspiron is a perfect choice for budget users where XPS can be used for high-end usage and of course Alienware for gamers. Also according to recent lists, Dell is one of the best-selling laptop brands in 2020. They have laptop for just about everyone.

Their collection of laptops is not a easy task to count and most of their notebooks have all the recent and needed features covered including touchscreens, back-lite keyboards, powerful processors and long lasting batteries.

And many more brands, have their own pros and cons, you can choose on basis of your pocket allowed and region. Personally I will not like any product made in China. You can see from Best Quality & Price

Which laptop is the best for DevOps course?
DevOps world we need to consider two factor one is to just work as a client and connect to workstation no need to install any more software's in local PC, only network connectivity needed, on other side we need to install several application's for doing the DevOps related works. For instance, VirtualBox, Vagrant, CentOS, Terraform, Git, Packer, Jenkins, Maven, Java, Python, Code Editors and many more.

While considering all these:
1. Memory 32GB, as you need to install so many software and virtual box
2. Processor i5+
3. Display min 13 inc
4. Storage, min 256 GB and SSD will be prefer at list of OS partition
5. Brand you can choose as per your pocket allowed, but just thing invest one time in good brand for long listing instead of every years.

Personally, I’d prefer Mac or Linux based systems vs Windows. The setup on my Apple is so much easier than on Windows. The tooling and install is just easier too.
